Artist Statement
My journey into visual art began without formal instruction, shaped instead by curiosity and a deep attraction to color, form, and space. What started as an early interest in interior design evolved into an exploratory painting practice rooted in texture, abstraction, and emotional tone.
During the mid-2010s, painting served as both a creative outlet and a foundational study in composition, work that continues to inform my approach to photography, video, and other media today. I was particularly attracted to the interplay between color and material, often using layered techniques to express mood and memory.
Although I am not actively painting at present, this archive represents a pivotal chapter in my creative development. These works mark a period of intense experimentation, during which I was learning how to see, truly see, and build a visual language of my own.
Creative work, for me, has never been static. It evolves, just as I do. While the mediums may shift, the impulse to create meaning through art remains constant.
