There is little reason to think this is going to be something. You can’t force anything. You are just visiting in her world. A world that you’re only allowed in per invite, so you don’t get to decide when you want to go over there. Live on and wait for that call. Until then, don’t let your feelings get ahead of hers.

For now, go cold.

Fall back and give her a chance to miss you.

Don’t start rolling out the red carpet for a girl who isn’t ready to walk down it yet.

Stop smothering, stop complementing, stop being so available.

Remind yourself not to worry about rejections and that they're not judgments of your personal worth. They are signs of incompatibility and they give you freedom to move on. 

Accept that sometimes in life you just don’t make the cut.
